Ford F-150 Lightning Review
The brand-new Ford F-150 Lightning is a pick-up truck. And it can fit an entire adult under the bonnet. This is not the only feature of this amazing electric car. Ford F150 is the all-electric version of America’s best-selling truck for the last 45 years. Moreover, it has the Mega Power Frunk instead of pistons under the hood. It can be said that the sale of this car had an impact on the economy of the US, Ford has sold that many cars in the fast.
It is true that when Tesla came up with their electric pick-up truck, Ford introduced this car. But, like the new Hummer EV, Chevy Silverado EV, and Rivian R1T, as well as Elon’s stainless-steel wedge, this car is also exceptional in its design and quality. But, Ford F-150 is different from all the other models in the market, as this is very affordable, starting from $40,000.
Extended battery features
This car offers two models to choose from. One is the entry-level version with a 98kWh battery, 446bhp, and a 230-mile range. The other one is the extended range model we drove with a mammoth 131kWh battery, 572bhp, and a 320-mile range. This option provides a removable battery slot with eight bolts. Both models produce 775lb-ft of torque. The faster one can get 0-60 mph in only 4.3 seconds. Which is very fast for any client.
Although it is not a very good time for an electric car as the charging facility is not very available throughout the country, it is a new beginning for the electric car. Especially, an electric pick-up truck can change the game. Moreover, the Ford F-15 is a better truck than the standard F-150. If you can get your head around the 300-mile range, this is going to be the best option in the market.
